When calling Joseph's Coat about furniture, call 614-582-4575. The case manager must conduct a home visit to confirm the necessary items. The case manager will submit the completed furniture request form from the .org email address only.  Someone will call to schedule a client pickup time appointment.  It is your (the client or case manager) responsibility to work with us to schedule the appointment and to arrive at the scheduled date and time with an appropriately sized vehicle to transport your furniture to your home.

​A case manager or your church Pastor, Minister, or Priest, Rabbi, etc., needs to complete and return the Membership Application on your behalf.  When requesting furniture for a family, we require identification for all family members. You need legal custody of the children.  We do have guidelines for family members on the form.  If you choose not to call and do not show up for your scheduled appointment, that is your choice; please do not expect us to attempt a quick reschedule. We have many people who want furniture who will come to pick up their items.​

A Joseph's Coat Membership is required to receive program resources.  Please provide a photo ID for all adult household members and identification for all children. Changes to family size, home address, or phone number that occur after completing the Membership application must be reported to a Joseph's Coat team member. We cannot contact you without the correct information.

 

Items we accept and can schedule for pickup are the following:

Dressers and chest of drawers (please make sure all drawers work)

Kitchen table and chairs

Couch or Loveseat

Beds in twin, full or queen size only

Household items we accept:

Twin, full, or queen sheet sets, mattress pads, comforters, bedspread (clean, folded, with size labeled on them)

Bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths

Kitchen towels and dishcloths

Pots, pans, skillets, and miscellaneous cooking items

Glasses, cups, dishes, bowls (packaged and wrapped in sets of 2 or 4)

Silverware, cooking utensils

Our hours of operation are the following:

Tuesday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Wednesday and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM​

NEVER LEAVE DONATION OUTSIDE OF OUR BUILDING. DUE TO THE RESTAURANTS NEAR US, WE WILL HAVE TO THROW EVERYTHING LEFT OUTSIDE AWAY. BUGS GET INTO THEM.
